A local Cusco agency, private tours only
Andean Magic Travel is a travel agency and tour operator based in Cusco. We organise private tours of Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and the region’s mountains for travellers who prefer to go with their own group, at their own pace and with an official guide who speaks their language. We do not sell seats on shared buses: every departure is for a single booking, with hotel pickup and our own transport.
How we work
- Official bilingual guides. Tourism graduates with an official guide licence, in Spanish and English, specialised in history, archaeology or mountains depending on the tour.
- Our own tourist transport. Vehicles licensed for tourism, with a professional driver, from a car for two people to minivans and sprinters for groups.
- Honest itineraries. Each tour page says how much you walk, at what altitude and which tickets are paid separately. We would rather you knew before booking.
- A single contact. From the quote to the return to your hotel, you talk to the same person on WhatsApp.
- Tourism that stays in the region. We work with weaving families in Chinchero, coffee producers in Huayopata, communities around Ausangate and local restaurants.
Our team and vehicles
These are some of the people and vehicles we use for the transfers on our private tours. We pick you up at your hotel door and the vehicle is for your group only.
What you can expect
Punctual pickup, a guide who adapts the pace to your group, firm prices with no surprises and a clear cancellation policy. If something does not go as planned, we solve it the same day, not by e-mail a week later.
Who writes our guides
The blog guides are written and checked by the same team that runs the tours in Cusco:
- Marco Otazu Quispe, manager. He writes the guides from what we see on the road every week: timings, tickets, altitude and what travellers ask.
- Bernardo Otazu Quispe, official tourism guide with licence no. 6274, issued by the Regional Office of Foreign Trade, Tourism and Crafts of Cusco. He checks the history, archaeology and logistics details of each site.

Our office is at Calle Marquez No. 227-331, C.C. Sotomayor, interior office 301, Cusco 08000, Peru, in the historic centre, and is open Monday to Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. We answer on WhatsApp at +51 912 262 862 and by e-mail at info@andeanmagictravel.com every day.
