Welcome to Andean Magic Travel. By booking a tour, trek, activity, or any travel service with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Bookings and Payments
- Booking Deposit: To secure a booking, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking. This deposit allows us to secure government permits (such as Machu Picchu or Inca Trail tickets), train tickets, and hotel reservations.
- Balance Payment: The remaining 50% balance must be paid at least 48 hours prior to the start date of the service. Payments can be made in cash (at our Cusco office in US Dollars or Peruvian Soles) or via credit/debit card or PayPal (subject to transaction fees).
- Confirmation: The booking is officially confirmed once we receive the deposit and send a written travel confirmation.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations by the Client: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@andeanmagicperu.com. The initial booking deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances because government permits for Machu Picchu, the Inca Trail, and train tickets are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Last-Minute Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the tour start date will incur a penalty of 100% of the total tour price (No Show).
- Force Majeure: Andean Magic Travel is not liable for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by natural disasters, strikes, civil unrest, extreme weather, government regulations, or road closures beyond our control. In such events, we will assist you to reschedule, but any additional costs incurred will be the passenger’s responsibility.
3. Travel and Health Insurance
It is highly recommended and mandatory for multi-day adventure treks (such as the Inca Trail, Salkantay, etc.) that passengers hold comprehensive travel insurance covering personal accidents, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, repatriation, and luggage loss. The passenger must be in good health and physical condition matching the selected itinerary.
4. Limitation of Liability
Andean Magic Travel acts only as an agent for passengers in all arrangements relating to transportation, lodging, restaurants, and other services. We assume no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, or delay caused by third-party providers or by force majeure events.
