Welcome to Andean Magic Travel. By booking a tour, trek, activity, or any travel service with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
Services are provided by Andean Magic Travel S.A.C., Tax ID (RUC) 20613422839, located at Calle Marquez No. 227-331, C.C. Sotomayor, interior office 301, Cusco 08000, Peru, with municipal operating licence no. 013205-2026. Office hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
1. Bookings and Payments
- Booking Deposit: To secure a booking, a deposit of 50% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking. This deposit allows us to secure government permits (such as Machu Picchu or Inca Trail tickets), train tickets, and hotel reservations.
- Balance Payment: The remaining 50% balance must be paid at least 48 hours prior to the start date of the service. Payments can be made in cash (at our Cusco office in US Dollars or Peruvian Soles) or via credit/debit card or PayPal (subject to transaction fees).
- Confirmation: The booking is officially confirmed once we receive the deposit and send a written travel confirmation.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations, refunds, date changes and force majeure are governed by our Cancellation Policy. In short: for tours and transfers the refund is 100% with 30 days’ notice or more and decreases with less notice; with less than 72 hours or a no-show, there is no refund. Machu Picchu has special conditions because of the tickets, trains and buses issued by third parties. Requests must be made in writing to info@andeanmagictravel.com or on WhatsApp.
3. Travel and Health Insurance
It is highly recommended and mandatory for multi-day adventure treks (such as the Inca Trail, Salkantay, etc.) that passengers hold comprehensive travel insurance covering personal accidents, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, repatriation, and luggage loss. The passenger must be in good health and physical condition matching the selected itinerary.
4. Limitation of Liability
Andean Magic Travel acts only as an agent for passengers in all arrangements relating to transportation, lodging, restaurants, and other services. We assume no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, or delay caused by third-party providers or by force majeure events.
