Your journey begins with hotel pickup in Cusco between 5:00 and 5:30 AM, where you will board a comfortable private tourist vehicle for a scenic drive to the famous Huayopata Coffee Route, one of the leading specialty coffee-producing regions in Peru. Along the way, you will cross the spectacular Abra Málaga Pass (4,315 m / 14,157 ft) before descending into the lush cloud forest, a region known for its incredible biodiversity and ideal conditions for growing premium coffee.
Upon arrival at a traditional family-owned coffee farm, you will be welcomed by local producers who will share their passion and knowledge of coffee cultivation. Accompanied by your private bilingual guide, you will explore the plantation and learn every stage of coffee production, including harvesting, pulping, fermentation, drying, roasting, and brewing.
